Prep Time: 20 minutes | Chill Time: 15 minutes | Serves: Makes about 1 dozen
Ingredients
- 1 (16 oz) package Nutter Butter cookies
- 1 (12 oz) bag milk chocolate melting wafers (or chocolate chips)
- 1 (8 oz) bag mini pretzel twists
- Candy eyeballs
- Small red candies (like red M&Ms or small jelly beans)
Instructions
- Prep: Line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Break the mini pretzel twists in half to create “antlers.”
- Melt Chocolate: Melt the milk chocolate wafers according to package directions (microwave on 50% power for 60 seconds, then stir, continuing in 30-second intervals until smooth).
- Dip Cookies: Dip one end of each Nutter Butter cookie into the melted chocolate (about one-third of the cookie).
- Decorate: Immediately place the dipped cookies onto the parchment-lined baking sheet. Before the chocolate sets:
- Carefully press two pretzel “antlers” into the top of the chocolate-dipped end.
- Attach two candy eyeballs to the chocolate.
- Place a red candy in the center for the nose.
- Chill: Once all cookies are decorated, place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for 15 minutes, or until the chocolate is completely set.
- Serve: Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
